It is my policy to never snoop on people’s private information. I make sure I do not let anyone else snoop, digg, or discover information they have no business knowing.

It is easy to get worried and nervous about giving out any kind of personal information online. I think people have always been cautious online. People used to use all kinds of made up names in forums to not show their real names. As the internet grow more sophisticated protecting private information is even more important. Policies can simplify and clarify, like good rules of thumb, that’s why I took a moment to spell out my position.
